Hodaka Yoshida (1926-1995) was one of 2 sons of Hiroshi Yoshida. His brother was Toshi Yoshida. Both Hiroshi and Toshi focused primarily on traditionally representational art, while Hodaka was very experimental.
There is a wonderful book which talks about the entire Yoshida family called "A Japanese Legacy: Four Generations of Yoshida Family Artists", published by the Minneapolis Institute of Arts in 2002. I believe that it is still freely available in book stores. Pages 109-149 are devoted to Hodaka's story and his work.

: I have a prnt thathas been in my home for some time by this artist. I know very little about it or its value. More important is what it is called. It looks like two human figures overlapping... kinda. Anyway How do I find out more? It is a very interesting image?
