Here is another suggestion.
Since almost all prints are stamped with the artists signature, a Japanese speaker can usually identify the artist by viewing the print. Often I consult my Japanese friends when I need more information about a print. If you do not know a Japanese speaker then I’d be tempted to visit a Japanese business or restaurant and ask if there are any Japanese speakers present who could help you.
