Elizabeth Keith (1887-1956) was a Scot who came to Japan in 1915. She did watercolours of Japan and Korea. She was learned woodblock printing from the publisher Watanabe Shozaburo who published her work in the 1920's and 30's. She is discussed by Julia Meech in a chapter in "The New Wave: 20th Century Prints from the Robert O. Muller Collection" edited by Amy Reigle Stephens, published in 1993.
