Did you examine your picture under magnification? If you do you will probably see dots or cross-hatching, which would indicate a photomechanical reproduction, which is what I suspect you have. If you're not sure, try to find a knowledgeable and reputable dealer, auction house, or museum curator who could take a look at it and confirm or disprove my suspicion.
