Hi Terry,

There seems to be no definite and established sequence for the production dates of the prints, and the ordering of them is debatable. The most common arrangement though is one based on the Tokaido sets, starting in Edo and moving SW to Fuji.

What is known is that the last 10 are the last 10 (imagine that!) though here too no definite order is known. These are the so called "Ura-Fuji" (Back of Fuji) prints that make up #'s 37-46. In contradiction to the Tokaido ordering though, not all of these last 10 are actually from Kai Province, behind Fuji.

Speaking of which, that's a damn fine quiz question: "How many prints are there in The 36 Views of Fuji?" It ranks right up there with "Who's buried in Chris Columbus' tomb?" (Diego, his son)
