I'm interested in techniques used for mounting and
framing triptychs and diptychs that have margins
preventing the images from lining up. I assume
that trimming or folding the borders would not
be desirable, and all I can think of is covering
the overlapping margins with the mat board, which
would cause a spacial misalignment of the image
sections.
I haven't seen many examples of framed or matted
triptychs on the web, so any advice or thoughts
on this would be appreciated.
