I have what appears to be an original Hiroshi Yoshida print with a red jizuri seal. On the backing of the print (not on the print itself), in pencil, is written "Limited 50 No 18" "Evening on the Bank of Gsukuto River", "Yoshida Hiroshi". I really don't know much about prints so I have a couple of questions, if someone is kind enough to answer:
1)What was the customary amount of prints to be produced by this artist? 50 seems like a low number.
2) I have not been able to find this print in his complete works. Is anyone familiar with it? I am attaching a picture also. The colors are much brighter than in the picture - my camera makes it look faded, but it really appears to be in very good condition.
