Paul Jacoulet- boat mark, micronesia prints

I was recently given two prints. I believe they
are in their original frames. The frames are high
quality wood with Japanese marks. Neither the
print entitled "butterfies," or the print entitled
"le betel" are numbered. Does this mean that they
were produced prior to numbering?
