I have a large oban-sized surimono by Hasegawa Sadanobu II (signed Konobu) showing a very long procession with two wagons, women carrying branches(?) and men carrying large parasols above them.
Among the text on the print I can make out "tenth month, 17th, 18th, 19th".
Does anyone know whether there was some (religious) festival at that date? I would appreciate even an educated guess!
