: : I bought this print recently in Japan. Does this sound familiar to anyone out there. Any information that you have would be appreciated.
: : THANKS

: This may be a print by Ogata Gekko in his "47 Ronin"
: series. The two Kanji characters in Gekko's signature
: look like a squashed script "N" above a script "M".

: To see an image of this print, go to Shogun Gallery's
: Gallery. Click on Gekko in the Meiji section and you will
: see a sampling of the above series, with GEK-8 the one
: in question.

Thank you very much Lester. This is indeed the print that I have. I would never have found out this information without your help. Any idea on what it's worth?
