Pat,
Sorry for mis-identifying you. (Interesting that two "Pat's" placed questions about 2 Jacoulet's within a few days of each other!)
I know of no Jacoulet fakes. If they exist I have not seen any, nor has anyone to my knowledge written about such specimens. His prints are so finely made and uniquely identifiable as his own that faking would be a challenge for even the finest printmakers. Many (or most) of his papers are watermarked with his trademark, so even the papers would have to be faked. Until the late 1980s Jacoulet prints did not command high enough prices to make fakery profitable, and recent price fluctuations still make such forgery rather unattractive. So you needn't worry about their legitimacy, especially as you obtained the prints in the 1950s (before Jacoulet's death).
