I, too, do not think anybody should get concerned about whether this print is an Edo period printing or not. I never believed it was, nor was "authenticity" the reason why I picked this print up. I thought the print curious, was not familiar with the signature, and rather believed this to be a modern day caricature of some kind.
Original or reproduction, subject matter can still be interesting, can it not? As well as informative. I wanted to find out what was depicted in the print, and Anders answered this very nicely.
