Yes, regardless of authenticity, a reproduction can sometimes be fascinating for its subject matter, quality of printing, differences compared to the originals, and so on. I did not mean to imply that there was anything wrong with benefitting from or enjoying the ownship and examination of copies. I was only responding to Anders, who did mention the possibility of an Edo-period printing. Also, authenticity is a common theme on this Chats site, so I thought it useful to comment upon it.
