I did go back and check and, using the reference you included, was able to identify subtle differences in the light blue shading. I have to say that the differences are very slight, but if I can rely on your image, there are indeed
differences. It is in fact a woodblock print. As I said, the rub marks are distinct, the paper appears correct, and the "bleed through" to the back of the paper is also distinct. What's funny is that we focused so nearly went blind
trying to match up the outlines and overlooked the shading! I have been suspicious for some time of its authenticity because of the size, but held out some small hope that it was produced in the smaller format also. Thanks for your
