I am doing a high school essay on Kaburagi Kiyokata (1878-1973)
for my Theory of Knowledge, International Baccalaureate class. I have everything I need, including drawing my portrait like his woodblock print of girl viewing bug (cricket) on lamp, except a quote from the artist. This I have been unable to find. I would appreciate any help you might offer with this problem or I will have to write "Hello my name is Kaburagi Kiyokata and this is my art." I think he must have said that once. The project is due Oct 15th. I have been looking for ages. Any idea where I could find a quote by the artist
