I have two prints that I believe were obtained in Japan immediately following WWII. One is by Hiroshige: "Enjoying the Cool of the Evening by the River Side at Shijo, Kyoto" It is No. 3, Series No. 1. Can someone tell me about this and what it might be worth?
The Utamaro does not appear like those I have seen on web sites. It is primarily muted blues, grays, with some siena shades, and is a scene of women in a boat on what appears to be a river. I would appreciate any help or info you might be able to pass along. Thank you very much.
