Joe:

I have not seen that particular book before,
but I can offer some comparative examples. I have
a 1919 first edition of Aisaburo Akiyama's "Sights
Of Old Capital", signed and inscribed by the
author, with a small, pre-earthquake print by Hasui
that I bought for approximately $150. I have seen
other books by this author published in the 1930's
in the range of $100-$250 if they contain prints
by some artist, and $30-40 if they did not. Given
Hasui's considerable production in the 1930's,
unless the book had a very small edition run, I
suspect that $100-$150 is probably the most it is
likely to fetch on the open market, depending upon
the number of Hasui prints and the condition of
the book and the prints.
