: : Any info. or source to find out if the print I
: have is part of his "36 immortal beauties" series?

: In this series, there is a cartouche with 5 kanji
: characters in a vertical arrangement. The top Kanji
: is a set of three horizontal strokes for the
: character "san" meaning "three". In some of the
: series, this is in a semi-cursive style with the
: lower two strokes resembling a capital "Z". The
: second character from the top looks like a cross
: for the kanji "ju" meaning "ten". The third kanji
: has four strokes... a main horizontal one, with a
: small vertical stroke above this, and two vertical
: strokes below. Sometimes these two strokes are
: represented by a single horizontal wiggle. This is
: the kanji "roku" meaning "six". So the top three
: strokes represent "36". I have not seen this series
: in any of the common references available to me.
