I have a Japanese Woodblock Print on Rice Paper and I am having a difficult time finding out any information on the artist/print.
The title of the print is "A Herbing" and the artist's name is Hokuba Teisai.
This is the name he painted under, but he has several other names as well. His real name was Hoshino, he was commonly called Gorohachi Arisaka, and his psuedonym was Shun Shun Tei.
If anyone has any information on this artist/print, I would greatly appreciate your help.
